Adam is a graduate researcher and recipient of the Madison and Lila Self Memorial Scholarship at the University of Kansas studying Civil/Structural Engineering. His previous education includes an Associates of Applied Science in Engineering Graphics Technology with highest distinction from Butler County Community College and a Bachelors of Science in Architectural Engineering with Highest Distinction, University Honors, and a minor in Mathematics from the University of Kansas. On top of all of this, he was selected as one of the University of Kansas engineering class of 2022's most outstanding seniors, an honor bestowed upon only one senior from each of the engineering disciplines.

Currently, he is working as a graduate research assistant studying the repair and retrofit of dam structures through the use of fiber reinforced polymers. His portion of the research focuses on the bond characterization and material development for FRP in use on dam structures. He leads a small army of undergraduate research assistants and works with a number of fellow graduate students and professors on this project - one of the largest in the department.

In his free time he loves to golf, read, and spend time outdoors. When he is not doing any of the aforementioned, he is likely hanging out with his Golden Retriever Phoebe.
